“ This is my go to cafe. Their coffee is THE BEST in Brookside, the staff are always helpful and pleasant. I can only assume that the few negative reviews below have been written by prats who were lost and actually attended some other venue. ”
“ This fantastic little corner Cafe in a rather busy section off the side of the Brookside Shopping centres food court exceeded my expectations. The staff are well mannered, fun, and energetic. The coffee is some of the better in this part of town, a rare gem in Brisbane (this has been getting better in recent years), credits to the barista! The food also exceeded my expectations. I ordered one dish, and then a BLT bagel expecting not to be full. But the serving size of the initial dish was a meal on its own! Well seasoned, presented with care and delightfully flavoursome. The speed at which they are able to bring your order out in the middle of a busy service is a testament to the skill and experience of the staff and chef/s. Well done Peacock and Peony, we will be back again. TL;DR Don't give this place a miss, exceeds expectations. ”
“ Unfortunately I ordered a smashed avocado on Turkish bread which was supposed to have avocado and feta, the avocado was off (and I don’t mean just a little brown. I couldn’t eat it. I had paid extra for a side of bacon, the bacon was cooked perfectly and was a decent portion size but unfortunately the main part of the breakfast was inedible. The coffee was really good though. ”
